If you are facing issues while running the Apploye desktop app, follow the troubleshooting steps below based on your case.
Apploye Desktop App/ Timer is not running
- Ensure that you are assigned to a project. Without selecting a project, you can't start the timer. It will remain gray. You need to select a project to track time under.
- If your organization’s subscription is paused, the timer may not start. Let the support team know the organization's name in chat/email, and they can check it for you. You can also directly reach out to your employer
- An existing timesheet may prevent the timer from running. It will show that the timer started, but it gets stopped after a second. Check if you have added a manual timesheet earlier. Go to Timesheet > Daily from the web app to check if there are any existing timesheets.
- "You are in the future" error. This issue usually occurs because of incorrect time settings of your device. Please check this guideline to fix the time and time zones. After that, this issue will be gone.
