Apploye follows HIPAA rules. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a U.S. law that protects people's health information. It started in 1996 and was updated by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act in 2009. We follow all HIPAA rules, including any new updates that come out.
Business Associate Agreement
Apploye's Business Associate Agreement (BAA) helps you meet HIPAA legal requirements. Our BAA adds to our Terms of Service and Agreement (as defined in our Terms of Service). It also replaces any old BAA you had with us before.
